the big let down

well, it starts. taking down the Christmas decorations is always so depressing. my mom always called it while we were growing up- the big let down. everyone has been excited about Christmas since Thanksgiving, then its OVER. that fast. today we are un-decorating. :(

potty is going well. he had an accident because he had undies on again. i guess those are not a good idea. they are so cute though! still waiting on #2.......

Half way to the Finish Line

Yesterday marked this pregnancy being 20 weeks along, which is halfway. I cannot believe it. Everyone keeps telling me that the second half will slow down, which I am looking forward to. I guess these have been a couple of crazy months. Time crept by when I was pregnant with Colden, and I was in the Army full time until 8.5 mts. He must be keeping me busier than I thought.

Working today on potty day #2. He had very little pee in his diaper this morning, and pottied right away. Lets hope today goes better with #2.

Potty Training Success.....

Well we have been putting off potty training not only for when Colden was ready, but so was Mommy. Well today was the day. We woke up early, waiting for Colden to wake, and had our living room rug rolled up, his little potty waiting with a candy jar for "producing" and a prize box for...well....you know what. Going to make him sit on the potty every 30 min. What a success we have had. Even through nap, which was about 2.5 hours, he kept a dry diaper. He even initiates the sitting on the potty. Now, I know it is only day one, but I am assured that we can keep this up. We are going to stay home for 7 days, just for reassurance. Hopefully he doesn't get burnt out, or me either. What a great day we have had! Potty Time!

It is now after bed time for Colden. He did end up pooping, but he did it in his undies. I finally talked him into wearing a pair to show daddy, and he decided to poo in them. He didn't even flinch. Of course it was the one moment neither of us were paying attention. I still claim a success and can't wait for tomorrow. :)

The Start......

So, I deleted my facebook. I need a way to help family and friends stay updated on photos of us and news about what is going on. Here it is. Hopefully I can keep this up. -Lindsay
