Schedule/Preschool

OK. After my huge melt down last week, I am doing much better. I had a couple of pretty smooth days in Dallas with help, and last night was my first night alone in over a week. Today has gone very well, considering.
I'm getting things lined up for preschool here at the house. It is exciting. Although it won't be too detailed or in depth, just learning for Colden, learning for me, and thats about it. REALLY glad I am not starting classes as Liberty until October. October is still fast approaching, which is good and bad. Consistency is what my children have been silently asking from me for a while now, and that is exactly what I want to give them. It has been a free for all, but now that I am getting used to Cliff being gone, and Turner is more predictable, looks like we are going to be spending MOST mornings here at home. Our schedule will look something like this:
MONDAY- up about 8, school 8:30-11:30, lunch, nap 2-4
TUESDAY- PWOC 9-12, lunch, nap 2-4
WEDNESDAY- up about 8, school 8:30-11:30, lunch, nap 2-4
THURSDAY- up about 8, school 8:30-11:30, lunch, nap 2-4
FRIDAY- activity day/lunch out (sometimes packed lunch, sometimes chick fil a or something)
Normal weekends. SO really, its only about 9 hours of "school" and they will be broken up into 15 min increments of different things. We also will have themes. For example: Yellow day. We wear yellow, color sunflowers, learn about the sun, eat bananas, shop for squash, go through the house finding yellow things, etc. I am excited to have SCHEDULED time to play with Colden. Obviously, Turner will be napping through some of it, but he will also be 'involved'. Our school is totally portable, so if we need to help at the church one day or go to Dallas, we can do the same there. This week I will be going out buying supplies like paper plates, pipe cleaners, paint brushes, bags of macaroni noodles and dry beans, etc. School starts Aug 22. :)
